Chapter 3- Brother's Fate.
Leoida took 3 steps toward toward his next victim.
"You fucking freak stay back! I'll kill her!" A crazed gunman was pointing a gun striaght for a innocent womans head in a darkened alley.
"Think for a second, I killed your 2 friends before they got even 1 shot off, where do you think you're going?"
"I'll pull the-" The crazed man's hand was cut off by Leoida. Before the man could even comprehend what happened he snapped.
"I-I-I'll kill you all! every single one of your people! AHHHHHH No, DAMMIT GET back!" Leoida stood blankly looking straight at the man as he fell into the ground bleeding to death.
"Ahh, what happened? y-y-you? are you h-h-human? you cant be, you just killed those 3 men......stay back!" Leoida drew closer to the woman grabbing her wrists as she screamed.
"Lady! think dammit, I just saved your life! I could've let you die here." The lady stopped screamed and look straight at Leoida, he released her and she grabbed her purse and ran off.
I feel like Superman, or Batman all the sudden, saving peoples lives. Leoida thought as he put away his sword. Leoida could'nt justify the death of the woman if he would just sit there and let them attack her. He pushed the thought away and walked slowely up the sidewalk staring at an oncoming car. In Leoida's mind he imagined the oncoming car in slow motion, he relized something and stopped in his tracks, the car did the same.
"ONI..." Leoida said under his breath. He prepared his daggers for a quick attack when he would turn around. He turned, but did'nt see anything. He looked around, roof to roof, building to building, then to the empty car, all 4 doors open flinging around in the wind.
"Those bastards got something planned for me..." 3 figures dimmed from a alley darkness to the light into his view, he readied his daggers.
"Don't be so hasty, I know, I know, were not the best people you know." Leoida kept an eye on all 3 as they surronded him.
"We need something from you, Most obviously your skillz and ability, as your not that leaniate to give it up, well I have something for you." Leoida quickly relized something, the figure he saw. He replayed the image again in his head. A huge figure mostly muscle more muscle then him. His thoughts were rendered usless when something grabbed him from behind and choked him with its humongous arm.
"Ariston!" Leoida was no stranger to the other lasting experiment besides him.
"So your familiar are you? Time to give it up Leoida. Don't worry we have a- Whoa!" Leoida forced Ariston's grip lose and dashed straight for the ONI spook closest to him, the one talking, with his daggers still in hand. He forced all 3 daggers into the ONI chest bringing them back out staring into Aristons eyes with anger and some compasion.
"You are nothing like me dammit, I won't fall especially to the likes of you. Don't you get it? their just using you!" Leoida thought Ariston was the only experiment like him, he fought his conscience deciding whether or not to kill him,while Leoida was thinking Ariston drew a humongous master sword from his back and into range. Still night out, very few people noticed them.
"Ariston.....you fool" Leoida drew his sword from his side. A japanesse sword with japanesse writing on both sides. One side read- Souls of the evil, and the other side read- Hope of the rest. The sword he gained from his master was not a normal sword, enforced with alloy to make it stronger and durable and stainless, radiactive proof even. His master did'nt teach him to kill the innocent but only the guilty, Leoida had a hard time following this rule with his state of mind formed by ONI. He became a Assasian because it was all he knew, and he needed some money on the side.
"Leoida you either except the offer or die fighting this man!" Another ONI spook pointed to Ariston. Leoida stood still waitin to hear the offer and laugh at them.
"You can still make it good Leoida, Either you come with us and fight like planned or you fight to the death with him."
"Hah! you'd ever expect me to fight for you scums!?" Leoida laughed again thinking of actually fighting the covenant. Ariston raised his blade.
"Leoida it's not to late!" The ONI spook seem to say faster then he could comprehend himself. Ariston soon lowered his blade and started into Leoida eyes.
"I'll never fight for you basta-"
"Not even for you brothers sake?" The ONI spook seem to have been waiting to say these words for some time now.
"WHAT!?" Leoida couldn't believe his ears, everyone that was with his family when he was born were murdered.
"Thats right Leoida, we have a failsafe plan incase you tried to escape, you think we did'nt expect you to leave? Honsetly we aren't that stupid Leoida." Leoida blocked out every word imaginging a brother he never seen before.
"Where is he, if you tell me you may live!" Leoida wasn't thinking smart at all making threats to the last chance of his brothers life.
"So hasty, don't worry you'll find out soon enough, just come with us Leoida."
"How can I even think about trusting you scum?" Ariston grunted to the comment.
"See for yourself." The ONI spook rolled a small device into Leoida's feet. Leoida bent down not taking his eyes off any of them. He pressed the only button on the device. A screen connected to the platform holding the button lite up. He saw images of him and a tube with a baby in it next to him, his was 1 and the other was 2. the next image brought up his family being slaughterd on the screen, outisde during a dark night somewhere unknown, but him and his brother still in test tubes, most likely 3 years old. Some of his relavtives chosse prison over death, and some didn't. The next image showed the camera footage of Leoida breaking out and runnning to the door killing anyone who tried to stop him. His brother still in the other tube next to his broken one. He saw the camaera convert back to his brother and two ONI spooks next to him and talking. One commented on a failsafe plan and getting Leoida back. The other talked about waiting for the right time, supossably now.
"How can I tell he's my brother?!" Just as he spoke a picture arose on the screen of his "Brother" his shirt was torn off of him, as if they have been tourtering him. He looked straight at the picture, he'd never seen his brother before or any of his family for that fact. The words J/S were printed into his shoulder, the same mark on his shoulder. He was so blinded by his "brother's" fate he looked up to the ONI spook.
"If I do this, He lives?"
"Yes, he will and we will let him go to you." Leoida's eyes opened wide and went back to the image of his brother.
"Fine." Leoida never took his eyes off his newly found brother, the only thing he had to live for.
