Great story Elfster I was going to say a little more description but the authors note really helped so 10/10.

Actually a Master Chief in the Navy is the equivilant of either a Master Gunnery Sergeant or a Sergeant Major.

ODSTs use the same ranks as Mareines.

BTW, Walker why do you always put Always Faithful at the end of your comments? Are you a Marine?

The little author's note at the end helped. Nice work Elfster, even though it did read a bit like notes, you didn't try to do too much with the story. As you continue the story will unfold on its own, no need to rush things.

Oh, and be careful with the spell check because some of the errors were correctly spelled words, just the wrong word: i.e., "been" instead of "bean" bag.

Good luck, looking forward to more from you.

oh you mean Semper Fi, yeah he does. And there nothing wrong with it, I acutully think it's cool. And pluse it is his sig. Kinda like my sig that I'm going to use again, or not, but this is what it looks like. And FYI, I got the idea from the great JCDenton.

Yeah, Spartans belong to ONI Section Three--the Navy. If you didn't know that, you can tell by ranks. Master Chief Petty Officer, which is what John 117 is, is a Navy rank about the equivalent of a Marine sergeant. Anyone know if the same applies to ODSTs, or are they Marines? I lent my TFOR book to a friend so I can't use it for reference. Btw, Elfster, this sounds like an interesting start to what's gonna be a good story. It already looks like a setup.

Most Spartans are owned by the navy. But good job Elfster, and I like the tittle, 'The Rebel' and there were few errors in the story. But like I always say, keep up the great work.

Another Spartan! Oh who cares! But anyone that reads my comment should know that I encourage them to use marines as the main character than a spartan.

Yeah I was thinking about writing this chapter for a long time now, and i was eager to post something because I havent in so long. I sorta just jotted this down real quick than ran through it to see if I could make some wording better and fix spelling mistakes.

The next chapter has alot more action and more than one little surprise =)

good i liked it a lot, although its not that original it was enjoyable. this new weapon thingy sounds like somthing that will play an important part later in the series by the way you spent so much time talking about it.
