Warbow | The Floor of the Maw Jump

On March 4, 2002, Warbow posted to the HBO forum:I was playing around on the Maw this weekend, for the Maw 700 of course. When I realised I am not that good of a driver so I don't stand a chance of winning! Anyway I started playing around and made it down to the floor of the big Maw jump. Here are some pics if you are interested. These were originally posted here.

Movie Update: On July 1, 2002, Warbow turned in a pretty slick little film showing how he got all the way to the bottom, in a Warthog. You'll find yourself saying "Why isn't he dead?"

Movie Update 2: On July 2, 2002, Halo Wannabe sent us another film, showing a far more easily reproducible way down - if you don't have the perfect timing shown by Warbow above, you can use this film to get you to the bottom with much less trouble. (This technique was actually first suggested by Ichabod, on the HBO Forum, on March 29, 2002.)
