halo 2 rumor

I've figured it out
I happened to be taking Japanese these days and I would like to tell you that the symbol on the butt of the pistol is not Kanji. It is in fact Hiragana. The Japanese have three different alphabets, Kanji, Hiragana, and Katakana and the character looks EXACTLY like the one on the butt of the pistol. The character is clearly Hiragana and it stands for "ka". I know it doesn't make sense and I have no explanation for it but that symbol is definitely "ka". Also, the symbol on the top of the pistol is in fact "ka", it is just flipped over! I think it makes a lot more since than McLee's explanation. I think the rabbit hole goes deeper than you can think, as one might say.

There's only one way to settle this controversy: Track down whoever at Bungie originally designed and textured the gun and ask him what the symbol is and what it means. If only we knew the names of the Bungie artists and if only they were willing to discuss it. If we were very lucky, they'd even post on the forum about it. Hopefully this mystery artists' explanation will make "since" as well.

To answer your first question, I doubt we would make Halo 1.5, as we are the fansite Bungie.org, not Bungie Studios.
I myself was curious as to the answer to your second question, as while I had never heard my copy of Brute Force make a joke before, I try to keep an open mind. However, during the subsequent experiment, I never once heard a single joke, despite the presence of Halo on the opposite chair. I'm sure the microphone was live, the previous act was quite audible. It was hard to tell for sure, though, over the booing. And the games must have been hard to see up there on the stage. Perhaps that's why the audience seemed to be aiming for me instead. I don't remember much after that, save for the manager demanding to know what the hell I thought a comedy club was for anyway. Long story short, Brute Force did not make Halo a joke. I hope this answers your question.

There are a vast number of things to do before Halo 2 comes out. Take a walk. Plant a tree. End world hunger. The sky's the limit!
'We' is the person who answers the letters to HBO. We use the royal 'we' because I am the king.

Reading the Fall of Reach is fast, easy, and can be done in the comfort of your own home. Just follow these simple instructions:
1. Hold the book up in front of your face. For optimal results it should be between 2 and 3 feet away. Once the book is secured in this position, proceed to step 2. (If you are unable to verify the book's position, it is possible that your eyes are closed or injured).
2. Ensure that the front cover is facing you and that the book is the right way up. Once you are sure the book is properly configured, proceed to step 3.
3. Allow your eyes to scan over the surface of the book, starting at the upper left and moving to the right, returning to slightly lower on the left edge when you are looking too far to the right of the book. When you reach the bottom, proceed to step 4.
4. On the right edge of the book, separate the topmost sheet of paper from the rest of the book. Gently move it to the left, revealing the page underneath. Do not use excessive force or you may damage the book. You may wish to hold back any pages already passed with your other hand.
5. Repeat steps 3 and 4 until there are no pages remaining. Congratulations! You have now read the Fall of Reach.

XBOX Console Name?
Hi I bought Halo with my XBOX on release day (14th March) and I think it it fantastic probably the best game ever on a home console but when I linked up with my friend the other day for some system link deathmatch antics I got to the screen where it shows which XBOX's are connected to the LAN and noticed that the systems all have names my friends system was called 'KILLER' and mine was called 'DARLING' is there any way of changing this name as mine is a little well it's not exactly very masculine is it!!! PLEASE HELP AS THE MANUAL SAYS NOTHING ABOUT THIS!

The name of the Xbox cannot be changed with Halo; you'll have to find another game and use that. You could also try drinking lots of beer or removing the muffler from your motorcycle, I hear those are very manly activities.
please change the specifications on how many words your story has to have.
My story is short and I cannot post it because of that damn 750 word thing. You know some of us cant think of that much stuff at once.

You're right, that limitation needs updating. We have now changed the requirement to -1500 words: To post a story, everyone is required to delete two of their previous stories. We feel this will greatly improve the fanfiction area.
how do we get all these weapons

There are lots of ways to get weapons. If you can find someone you know is carrying a weapon and get the drop on them, it's yours. Security guards and (lone) policemen are the best bet. A safer way is to join your local police or armed forces, but it'll be a long time before they let you use real weapons. You could start a militia in an unstable country and build relationships with underground arms suppliers, but that also takes a long time and is much riskier. Terrorist groups will give you weapons pretty quickly, but you only get to use them once. I'm sure you can think of more things to try. Remember that once you have one weapon, getting another one is a lot easier.

Well, I tried connecting to the Microsoft webmail area, but I couldn't guess any of the Bungie guys' usernames or passwords. I tried going directly to their POP accounts, but I couldn't even get a connection to the internal mail server. I tried looking around the office, but I couldn't find anything on paper before the guard woke up. I even tried asking nicely, but they just laughed at me. I'll see them hanged for that. No one laughs at the king.
So, I couldn't get you the staff's email. Sorry.
